Academics staff at CP, UAM, EUV and ULO may combine for teaching purposes media from different departments that are available in the reading room for students and pupils taking classes. Such a book collection is called a semester reserve. The media are borrowed for one semester (unless the teacher specifies another term) on a specially created account and are only available on site (cannot be rented). Teachers may include their own materials in the collection.
The library of the Collegium Polonicum invites everyone to donate and share books that their current owners no longer need on a specially prepared shelf. We hope that the books thus shared will find a new home. The library does not mediate the exchange. Please feel more than welcome to donate and share your books!
Registered users are entitled to use the carrels for individual work. A register of users is kept at the library counter. Carrels can be reserved if required. Carrels keys can be collected at the library counter when the library is open and must be returned at least half an hour before the closure of the library.
A scholarly collection is a collection of books, tapes or discs on loan to CP, EUV and ULO staff for a minimum of one year. The collection should contain materials needed for teaching in a given semester or for academic work.
To create a scholarly collection, fill in the form available below and then select the books to be included in the collection.
Items borrowed for the collection must not leave the university building and should be made available to other users as needed.
