About us

Collegium Polonicum is a unique form of cross-border academic cooperation in the field of science and teaching in Europe. In accordance with contract of 2 October 2002, responsibility for the Collegium Polonicum rests simultaneously with the Republic of Poland and the Federal State of Brandenburg. Collegium Polonicum operates as a joint research and teaching institution of two partner universities:

- Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań (AMU) and
- European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder) (EUV).

The main task of Collegium Polonicum is to promote scientific and cultural cooperation between Poland and Germany - the neighbouring countries of the European Union. In order to realise this objective, common fields of study are offered and research is conducted in many socially, legally and economically innovative areas.
