Council of the Student Government

If you feel a drive for action and want to assert yourself in a leadership role, then the student council is the perfect place for you. You will be able to use your organisational and leadership skills, co-creating initiatives that will make a positive impact on student life.

As a member of the student council, you will act on behalf of and in the interests of students, representing their voice on a variety of issues affecting university life. Creating programmes, initiating social projects, organising cultural and sporting events - these are just some of the tasks you will be able to undertake as an active member of the student council.

With other council members, you will work on a variety of initiatives to improve student life. Whether it's organising conferences or initiating activities for integration, the student council gives you the opportunity to get involved in issues that are important to the academic community.
